 The End of Summer
2002-08-10 - 9:11 p.m.

I guess it's over. Friday was the last day of my job, and it was kinda nice. I walked in, looked at the box after box that needed packaging, paniced (I hadn't the foggiest where to begin), and my boss walked in with her husband. They gave me three roses, my paycheck (including pay for the day), and told me to leave. Me= 0.0!!! I ought to write them a nice letter or somthing. I did leave a little suprise... I bought six bags of candy, and filled the goody jar... I didn't have anything else, yet... >.> Oh well. I left my story of La Llorona on their comp, too. Eep!

I didn't know what to do when I got home, so I called Matt. He's so cute when he's like... SO not awake. lol He was watching American Gladiators and he was like...

"Whoa, that guy looks like he's 12 years old."

(Yack for a while... blah blah blah...)

"Oh my gosh! That 12 year old boy was a woman! The pink should have thrown me off, but, GAH!"

LOL. It's SO funny. People who aren't pert in the morning ammuse me... It seriousely only takes me like 5 minutes tops to wake up, so I just don't get it. Oh well!

Speaking of being pert in the morning... I had to get up at 3, so that I would be able to be in Portalles by 8. So... yeah... I didn't sleep last night, because my brother was up all night, so come 3, I'm wide awake. I get up, get ready, and am off. My dad is so not a morning person, but he's got this ego trip, and he has to drive. So I was clinging to the door, and telling dad I should drive for the longest time. By 5 his coffee kicked in, and it was time for me to sleep. So I slept... lol

Once I got there, it was pretty uneventful. The folks and kids split up. I went into the meeting room with all the rest of the people, and it was kinda funny. They sectioned us out by majors. I first went to the group with liberal arts, education, ect... That group was full. Just as I was sitting down, Jeanie came in and asked where I was. So I went with her. Wee! I am the lone music major in the group. We kinda chacnged my major again. >.< It's now Opera: Vocal Performance. I have almost all my basic classes. Which was way... WOO! You know? I'm like... done with my math, social science, almost all my history credits, I need science. :P But still... it's all good. Most of the rest of the classes I need, I couldn't have taken at UNMLA. And I'm required to learn french... not spanish, not italian, not japanese... French. BLEH! Anywho... Enough of that. Here's the schedule:

MWF:

Begining Acting: 9-9:50

University Singers: 11-11:50

English Composition: 2-2:50

MW:

Self-Defense: 4-4:50

TR:

Recital Attendance: 2-2:50

R

And then, I have private voiice lessons, and I'm waiting for them to open up a new section of intro to piano. BLEH! And then, as if it wouldn't be hard enough to get a job, when I thought I had a chance... My parents have too much money for me to be able to get a work study job. So... when I get on campus, I have to apply for a job. Not through work study, though. BLEH!

Eh... enough... I need to get caught up elsewhere too.
