I don't have much to talk about... and nobody responded to this at my club. So guess what... We get to have a pollitical discussion, because I have been hearing some pretty funny things lately. Okay... Well, my mom always votes straight democrat, and my dad republican. They really don't follow pollitics so it's pretty much useless for them to vote anyway. But for the upcoming election, my mom has decided to vote all democrat, ACCEPT for one man. She's not voting for him, because his grandfather was very bad to my great grandfather. I told this to a friend, and she couldn't really tell me what she based her vote upon either. She said she'd be more comfortable with Gore in the white house, because GW isn't as elloquent. I was just wondering... what do you base your votes on? Personally, I am more comfortable with GW in the White House, because he is not as knowledgeable. Give me a second here and let me explain... Gore knows his stuff, I'm sure. But he may count on that fact a bit too much. GW on the other hand, has to look everything over before he makes a descision. He has to listen to every aspect, because he just wouldn't know otheriwse. With him in the White House, we have more of a democracy, because he doesn't have a lot of pre-formed oppinions. Do you get what I'm saying. I support every move he has made since he has entered the presidency. They seem very obvious, but not overly obtrusive. Well, there's enough for that rant. What are your oppinions? What do you base your votes on?
