Things Are Looking Up A Bit
2002-09-19 - 12:41 p.m.

Things are starting to get better. As some of you already know, my biggest news is that I think I'm saved. I think I already did a rambling about that, so I'll move on so all you non-christians can share in my joy as well.

Uhm... Hrm? Oh! As absolutely horrifying as this sounds... I think I am a straight A student at the moment. Oh yes, from english to acting, I think I'm doing quite well. Of course this is consequently because of my complete and utter boredom for the first two weeks of classes, and my lack of friends. I have been able to fingure out how to just sit down and do my homework. Concept! *gasp*

Next thing that just kinda made me smile. If anyone went to almost any highschool choir concert in the state of New Mexico 2 years ago, we sang "Oh My Luve's Like a Red Red Rose." Yes, that is the song that I would swoon for when I first heard it at choir camp. The guys part is written so well, I just melt. Anyway! We're singing it again in choir. :D!!!! And since most of the people who are in choir now were in choir 2 years ago... we knew it almost perfectly from the start. And oh my... *swoon* I still LOVE this song. So if anyone is around in about a month, come see our choir concert... It will make you melt. *_*

Next matter of business. I'm getting open enough to talk to people around here. Even today, I got up the guts to go sit with another human being. *look of terror covers the nation* So Yay! I don't spend every meal alone, just most of them. I'm hoping to get to be better friends with the Christian kids too, but for now I'll stick to people I'm forced to be around a lot. But... yeah.

I also got my phone card charged up again, and that means that my debit card is working. Haha! Woo! Money-money-money... MONEY! So that means that I can get money out of my account to take to ABQ, when I go to State Fair with Heather and Sarah this weekend. Debbie and Dali might go hang out with us too. So... yay! Girls day out! Now to find Debbie's adress so that I can tell Heather how to get there... Hopefully I don't get lost too. I think I just have to take the road from Clines Corners to ABQ. I'm praying there's no funny offramps for me to miss. x.x

And by the meir fact that I mentioned Sarah means that I did finally swallowed my pride and talk to her. I don't think I'll say any more until I talk to her, because I'm still a little upset and confused. But yeah, I was happy she took my call.

Matt is a doll, as always. He's been a little depressed so I'm gonna see what I can do about that. I figure his friends don't want to see him that way, so they'll help me. ::pokepoke::

And last but not least, my friend Eddie might come out to see me sometime. Woo! I'm thinkin' 'bout takin' him to see the Caverns and White Sands. Doesn't that sound fun? YES it does! Wrar! I LOVE the national parks so leave me alone! :P I hope he likes it too, tho'. ::worries:: Anywho! I think that's enough rambling. But yeah... as insignificant as most of those things seem, they all have me very happy an excited. I even wore a brightly colored shirt today! (Okay, so it's tie-dye, and hence enhancing my "artistic" look, but hey! It's not black or blue!)

Anywho! All my love ~TK
