Ouf... Like... I've gotten very little done. Word is dead, so I went and downloaded notepad, which sucks because up 'til last night I didn't even know how to use the word wrap. I was very angry so I haven't written much... I'm doomed! Run is exactly what she did… From the first step that she took, all she could hear in her heart is ‘I have to get away.’ The adrenalin surging through her, she took pulsing steps to get home as fast as she could. Anywhere was better than there near that woman… that creature of the night. Her slim legs propelled her forward at such speeds that she hoped her body could stay with her. As she reached her stoop, her feet stopped, and the momentum of her speed threw her back. Quickly, her eyes honed in on Jay’s smiling face. His towering form, slowly slides from the step towards her. The excitement is obvious in his gorgeous bright blue cat eyes. “Honey, I knew that we would be together forever. I just knew it! I’m so glad you went to seek her out. She’s my sire, you know. When I first showed you what happened, I hadn’t asked what had gone on, out there, that night. Perhaps, she will see it fit that we work together.” A slight hiss in his voice and a bit of a smooth accent slowly becomes more predominant as he speaks. Yet, he uses the same inflections as he always had, not allowing him to have as beautiful an accent as the other she had spoken with, that day. A beautiful tragedy, such a language is wasted on those not worthy of the beauty they have. “You know I would have never gone to seek her out. You said it yourself, when we were studying German mythology, Vampires are damned. No, Jay, I’m not sure what is going on, but I think I’ve found out.” This little darlin’ has been hurt. All sorts of emotions that had been tied up in numbness now resurface. Tears start rolling down her cheeks. Jay, sands there silently, but sternly. His ego, new life style, and hopes from the last life were crushed in one blow. He knew he had something in common with Maggie as she looked over to him. She looked as though, she could never love again. "I deserve to die." A beat in her heart with pulses so strong she feared Jay could see it outwardly. Try as he may, it was too late for him. Her words dripped like honey in his hands, coarse and sticky despite how he loved them. Just one love in his past life was remembered in his present life. He did not hear her words, just the sound of her voice. Deep withing him a hunger grew and he longed to give her the chance to join him. But what if this joy was nto what she longed for, and she'd prove it all wrong. Thinking back one the people in the alleyway, he realizes why she is acting this. "You walked in. You were so quick to judge." The honey of his emotions started to warm and drip off his hands. 'He's a beast.' Jay thoguht to himself as he remembered back on being turned. Nothing like the opportunity to say no was ever given to Jay. He was raped of his innocence, and his chance to Heaven. Slowly the smily lifted from him face. "You're right." Nothing more needed to be said. Like the scattering leaves of the fall, he felt himself to be meirly drifting on the wind. This had been on such an adventure and he was having such a good time, all he thought of was 'me.' How 'I'll make everything okay.' Between his thoughts of turning Maggie and his nightly indulgent feedings, he never thought anything could break him. But seeing his best friend starnding in front of him on a cold, dark, night, with terror in her eyes cut to his heart. His very soul was dismembered as he was cast back into reality. 'Your thoughts are failing you.' The voice of his master boomed inside his sinful heart. 'I'll never feed from her.' He responded to himself as he said not a word, but stared at her in shock and silence. "I'd rather watch her die a quick and empassioned death. She is not worthy of us. You need to get your strenght up. You have to work tomorrow." The words of his master slip through his mouth. His eyes still in awe, but his mouth, tongue, and extending teeth betray him. Maggie, in a fit of rage and fear, subjected to a burst of adrenalin runs into the house as fast as she can. Pushing Jay over the hand rail, she runs inside and locks the door. Vampires can travel faster than the speed of light. He had recovered and was inside with her. "I'll never do anything to hurt you." With that, Beth gave him all she had, slamming a silver tray over his head he was out for the count. It should give him a good nights sleep if nothing more. Beth froze as she looked at the massive collapsed figure at her feet. Covering her mouth to stiffle a gasp, she looks to Maggie. "You know... homeboy REALLY looks like Jay." Maggie looked at Beth and could tell just what she was thinking. It was in her mind too.
